10-krone coin (1908-1909)

10-krone coin dated 1908
The 10-krone coin was put into circulation in 1908.

The dominating decoration on the 10-krone coin is a portrait of King Frederik VIII. The reverse shows the large coat of arms. The heart on the reverse is a mint mark showing that the coin was minted at the Royal Danish Mint.

The coin was engraved by Gunnar Jensen.

Technical specifications
The 10-krone coin is of gold and weights 4.48 gram. A total of 4.6 million 10-krone coins were minted in the years 1908-09.
