Danmarks Nationalbank has seven guest apartments at Nyhavn 18 which are made available to highly-qualified foreign scientists and artists. Emphasis is laid on the guests' ability to bring inspiration to Danish researchers and artists via lectures, research or by other means. Applications from Ph.D. students are not considered, as well as former residents will not be considered for the following 5 years.
Candidates are nominated once a year by Danish educational institutions, next time in January 2011.
Danmarks Nationalbank allocates the guest apartments after consultation with a committee that currently comprises Professor Søren-Peter Olesen (Chairman) and Professor Frans Gregersen.
