Danmarks Nationalbank becomes the sole banker to the central government
In 1914 Danmarks Nationalbank became the sole banker to the central government, reinforcing its role as central bank. As part of this cooperation Danmarks Nationalbank granted the central government interest-rate privileges and other facilities to offset the better terms previously offered by private banks
