Motifs
The portrait of the astronomer and physicist Ole Rømer was reproduced from a painting by an unknown artist. On the right-hand side of the banknote is the Round Tower in Copenhagen with the University's astronomical observatory.
The motif on the reverse is Stenvad long barrow in Djursland (Jutland), drawn by the illustrator and architect Ib Andersen (1907-1969).
