The Tower Coin Set 2002-2007
Tower coin series was introduced in 2002 and completed in 2007. The towers represent different functions, such as church towers, lighthouses, castle towers and water towers, and also different parts of Denmark.
In connection with the issue of the final tower coin, Copenhagen City Hall Tower, a coin set comprising all ten coins in the series, minted in the extra-fine BU quality, is issued. The coin set was issued on 20 June 2007.
The coins in the set are uncirculated and minted with two strokes instead of one. This is one stroke more than the coins in circulation. The more strokes, the more distinct the embossment.
