Securities statistics by ISIN codes include a variable on ownership concentration. Ownership concentration is measured by means of maximum ownership share that is computed as the share of the security that is owned by the biggest investor in the security. Ownership concentration is only computed for the bonds and the statistics are revised with new information back to January 2005. Ownership concentration has following possible outcomes:
1 – Securities with low concentration. Maximum ownership share < 20 per cent.
2 – Securities with medium concentration. 20 per cent <= maximum ownership share < 50 per cent
3 – Securities with high concentration. Maximum ownership share >= 50 per cent
0 – The total amount of the security is owned by the issuer
L – Ownership concentration is not computed
M – Ownership concentration is not available
Information about the importance of ownership concentration for pricing of Danish mortgage bonds can be found in the publication "Monetary Review" for the 4th quarter 2008.
