The government will resume switch operations of Danish government bonds. Switches give market participants the opportunity to exchange existing government securities to new on-the-run securities at market prices. Switches can contribute to facilitate the trading in government bonds. Timing and choice of bonds will depend on demand. The terms of the switches will be announced before conducting the switch operations.
Switches do not affect the outstanding volume of government bonds and the decision to suspend the issuance of government bonds remains in effect.
