Danmarks Nationalbank allocates the guest flats after consultation with a committee that currently consists of Professor Søren-Peter Olesen (Chairman), Professor Claus Thustrup Kreiner and Professor Rubina Raja.

The flats are allocated based on the guest's previous work which should be of high quality. Especially, emphasis is on the guest's ability to contribute with knowledge and inspiration to the host institution and the research environment. The flats are allocated for a period of minimum 3 months to maximum 1 year.

Former residents will not be considered for 5 years after their stay. Applications from PhD students are not considered.
