Weeks 46 to 52 (14 November – 30 December)
Danmarks Nationalbank is carrying out geological surveys of the subsoil. This means that excavations will be carried out at six places around the building in order to collect samples and carry out subsoil measurements. The pavement near the sites will be blocked off while the surveys are being conducted.

The work will take place on weekdays between 7:00 and 15:00. Brief periods of noise must be expected.

September 2022 - March 2023
Danmarks Nationalbank is conducting a pilot project in connection with forthcoming facade work. The pilot project extends over one section of the building – from the footings to the wall coping – spanning both sides of the bank’s south-east corner in Havnegade and Niels Juels Gade, and the works mainly comprise the following:

  • Renovation of existing stone cladding and its fixture
  • Concrete renovation
  • Renewal of glass and glass facade.
The purpose of the pilot project is to experiment and clarify different solutions before the main facade renovation work is carried out (probably from late 2024 to late 2026).

The pilot project will start in early September 2022, and is expected to be completed by the end of March 2023.

The building site consists of construction hoardings on the corner of Havnegade and Niels Juels Gade as well as hoardings around the parking area located between Havnegade and the harbour.

The building work will be carried out on weekdays, 7.00-17.00.
