Danmarks Nationalbank records conversations involving conclusion of financial transactions in our Banking and Markets department.
The purpose is:
- to clarify what was agreed over the telephone if a dispute arises between Danmarks Nationalbank and a counterparty to a transaction involving foreign exchange, bonds, equities or other financial instruments, or
- to shed light on a justified suspicion of fraud in connection with such transactions.
Processing of this data is necessary for the exercise of our official authority (Article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR).
We retain the conversations for five years in accordance with the MIFID II requirements, after which the data is automatically deleted.
