Abstract icon Financial Stability analyses and monitors the development in the financial sector focusing on financial stability in Denmark, oversees the financial infrastructure in Denmark and heads the secretariat for the Systemic Risk Council, the Payments Council and Financial Sector forum for Operational Resilience, FSOR.

Analysis and Models

  • Analyses of banks, mortgage credit institutions, insurance and pension companies
  • Financial conditions for bank clients, including households and companies
  • Development and operation of models to analyse risks in the financial system
  • Identifies and monitors systemic financial risks
  • Participates in national and international committee work and meetings dealing with analysis of financial stability
  • Data science use and knowledge sharing across the bank.


Infrastructure and Cyber

  • Oversees systemically important payment systems and payment solutions
  • Contributes to the development of the payment infrastructure
  • Leads the TIBER-DK program
  • Leads the cooperation in the financial sector on cyber within FSOR
  • Participates in national and international committee work and meetings dealing with infrastructure, oversight and cyber.

  • Secretariat for the Payment Council

  • Analyses and innovation within climate risks in the financial sector
  • Analyses and innovation within digitalisation in the financial sector and central bank digital currencies.

  • The Internal Market for financial services and Banking Union
  • Participates in crisis management of credit institutions.
