The account holders of Danmarks Nationalbank are financial institutions and other participants. Danmarks Nationalbank's Terms and Conditions for accounts govern account-related matters in Danish kroner and euro. One of the preconditions for participating in Danmarks Nationalbank's real-time gross settlement system, Kronos, is holding a current account with Danmarks Nationalbank.​
