Microdata and data science Data volumes have grown exponentially. By 2025, an estimated 450 exabytes of data will be created each day, an amount equivalent to the hard drives of millions of personal computers. This enormous amount of data comes in different forms, but new and advanced methods make it possible to analyze data in a novel and effective way. In a series of publications, Danmarks Nationalbank focuses on new data types and methods to acquire more knowledge, and a better basis for assessing the Danish economy.
