ØP Research Seminar: Jonathan Lindahl and Kathrine Johansen

Jonathan Lindahl and Kathrine Johansen from CRT (Center for Regional- og Turismeforskning) Abstract: CRT will talk about their regional data bank and model SAM-K/LINE, which is an interregional macroeconomic model. This means that the model is able to analyse for instance how economic activity in one municipality spreads to other municipalities in Denmark. It is used for regional economic projections and impact calculations of regions, municiplalities, consultancy firms, companies etc. the model is also used to calculate and analyse the implications of economic activity for the climate, most recently it has been used as the basis for the new national inventory for tourism in Denmark and significance for the consumption-based climate footprint.
