Banking and mortgage lending based on microdata 2nd quarter 2026
Danmarks Nationalbank publishes quarterly statistics on lending from the largest banks and mortgage credit institutions in Denmark based on microdata.
The statistics contain information on outstanding debt, number of loans and borrowers for various types of lending from the largest banks and mortgage credit institutions in Denmark to Danish households and businesses. The statistics are based on two different calculation methods: calculated per loan and calculated per borrower.
The dissemination of the data is temporarily paused from the third quarter of 2026 due to the transition of the statistics to a new data source. This means that the dissemination will not follow the usual release cycle. The date on which dissemination will resume will be communicated in the release calendar once it has been determined.
