Statistics period: Juli 2023

Fewer Private Investments via Funds

Danish private investors have (net) sold investment certificates for approximately kr. 6 billion the past 12 months. So far in 2023, the willingness to buy have been modest and the Danes have only (net) purchased investment certificates in February, where they received dividends and reinvested a large part. The lower traffic into investment funds comes on top of two years, 2020 and 2021, in which the inflow of investments was massive. The capital freed from the sale of investment certificates can subsequently be used for, for example, consumption, savings, debt reduction or the direct purchase of securities without funds.
