US equities now constitute 50 per cent of the funds’ equity portfolio
US equities constitute half of the total equity investments of the Danish investment funds at the end of August 2023. Back in January 2018, US equities made up somewhat less, namely just over a third. The increase is mainly due to high value adjustments on the US equities rather than increased purchases. Danish equities make up the second largest share in the equity portfolio at 11 per cent followed by Japanese equities. The Danish investment funds has equity investments worth of kr. 534 billion, which is 44 per cent of the total investments.
