Danmarks Nationalbank welcomes the European Commission's action plan for a comprehensive European Union policy on AML/CFT. A strengthened pan-European AML/CFT-effort, with the goal of ensuring a harmonized and effective supervisory approach by establishing an EU-level supervisor, further harmonization of EU AML/CFT laws, and strengthening the coordination and cooperation between relevant national authorities would all represent significant steps forward.
