Danes are making more payments using their mobile phones
More than 9 out of 10 payments in stores are digital. Although an increasing share of citizens have replaced a physical card with a mobile phone, physical payment cards are still the most widely used payment solution in Denmark. Digital payment solutions are preferred mainly because they are fast and easy to use.
