Adjustments at the Nationalbank in the Event of the Introduction of the Euro in Denmark
In May 1999 the Parliamentary Political and Economic Committee requested the Minister of Economic Affairs to prepare a memorandum describing the practical and technical processes required before the Nationalbank will be ready to replace the krone with the euro (in the event of a referendum on Danish participation resulting in a "yes" vote). The response prepared by the Nationalbank is presented in the article.
