Confidence Indicators
This article assesses the value of business and consumer confidence indicators as a measure of the current economic situation. When interpreted with caution, the indicators, which are available earlier than the actual statistics, contain a certain degree of information on economic activity. A net figure of zero is equivalent to normal growth, not stagnation.
