Governor Christian Kettel Thomsen presented a new forecast for the Danish economy. Among other things, he said that there is very limited spare capacity to increase production without creating pressure on wages and inflation; higher energy prices will push inflation up over the winter; and there are significant upside risks to inflation. He also said that fiscal policy should not stimulate demand more than is already planned, and that caution should be exercised in utilizing the full fiscal space available.
