Danmarks Nationalbank has appointed Signe Krogstrup as the new Assistant Governor and Head of Economics and Monetary Policy with effect from 1 June 2019.
Signe Krogstrup is 47 years old, MSc econ. from University of Copenhagen and holds a PhD in international economics from The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Switzerland. Signe has extensive experience in economic research and monetary policy and she comes from an adviser position and as a member of the Research Management in The International Monetary Fund, IMF. From 2007 to 2016, Signe worked at The Swiss National Bank.
