31 May 2026 is the last day when you can exchange your 1000-krone and older-series banknotes at Danmarks Nationalbank's three banknote exchange points in Aarhus, Odense and Copenhagen. After that, the notes will be worthless. Friday 29 May 2026 at 12 PM, online registration will also be possible.
