Oversight of payment instruments is based on the ECB's oversight standards for payment instruments and takes place in accordance with Danmarks Nationalbank's policy for oversight of the financial infrastructure in Denmark.

Assessment reports

The most important Danish payment instruments are currently assessed to be the Dankort, Betalingsservice and credit transfers. Assessing whether the instruments comply with the ECB's oversight standards for payment instruments is an important aspect of Danmarks Nationalbank's oversight of the Dankort, Betalingsservice and credit transfers. Once an assessment has been completed, its main conclusions are published. Danmarks Nationalbank is currently assessing the payment instruments specified above in relation to the ECB's oversight standards.
